Nicolas Cage Created Ruckus at Tattoo Parlor Before Arrest

Nicolas Cage Created Ruckus at Tattoo Parlor Before Arrest

A very drunk Nicolas Cage reportedly visited a tattoo parlor shortly before his arrest early Saturday morning, April 16 in New Orleans.

As he stumbled around, he asked parlor employees to call the cops because he couldn't remember where he lived!

Cage, 47, was later arrested on one count of domestic abuse and one count of disturbing the peace.

The arrest followed an argument between Cage and his wife Alice Kim in the French Quarter. The couple have rented an apartment there as Cage is in the city filming for 'Medallion.'

According to TMZ, Cage and Kim were fighting over the location of their rented apartment, when a cab driver passing by heard the yelling and screaming. He later saw Cage grab Kim and called the police.

Upon arrival, the police told a visibly drunk Cage to go home, but Cage challenged the police to arrest him.

"Why don't you just arrest me?" he asked the cops.

The cops ignored him and told him to just go home, but when Cage persisted in his challenge they charged and arrested him.

In a statement released to the press, the NOPD said.

"Cage and his wife were standing in front of a residence that he insisted was the property the couple was renting. She disagreed, and Cage grabbed her by the upper arm and pulled her to what he believed was the correct address. There were no visible signs of injury on his wife's arm,.

"The actor then began striking vehicles and later attempted to get into a taxi. At that point, an officer who had been flagged down by onlookers drove up on the couple, immediately observed that Cage was heavily intoxicated and ordered him out of the cab, which prompted Cage to start yelling. The officers subsequently took Cage to Central Lock-up."

Cage was later released on a bond of $11,000. A hearing in the case has been scheduled on May 31.
