Susan Boyle Wax Figure Unveiled Madame Tussauds Blackpool


How’s that for uncanny?! Songbird Susan Boyle showed off her new incredibly life-like waxwork at Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, England on Tuesday. The wax likeness of the platinum-selling talent show sensation took four months to create and will take pride of place at the new Blackpool attraction alongside other figures from the world of TV, music and sport. The attraction Madame Tussauds’ first UK location outside of London.

“What can you say? They have done a very good job. It feels fantastic,” the star told reporters. “It was such a great process to be involved in and it looks very realistic.”

The Scottish-born “I Dreamed a Dream” singer — who turned 50 on April 1 — was catapulted from obscurity to become an overnight celebrity two years ago, after she wowed the judges and audience of the UK’s Britain’s Got Talent with her rendition of the Les Miserables classic song.
