Its very name, wherein R stands for responsive and refined, and of course racing, pays tribute to the first Porsche with the “R” designation, the 911 R of 1967.

Powering Cayman R is a tuned up 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine generating 330hp. Engine will be mated to Porsche’s excellent PDK automatic or a traditional six-speed manual transmission. The racer is capable of running from 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds or 4.7 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono packages and has a top speed caped at 175mph with manual gearbox and 174 with PDK.

Further, Porsche Cayman R features a 20mm lowered ride height, has new alloy wheels, black-framed headlights and black exterior mirrors.
